It has already been 2 months and March is here, time is fleeting and I have found that studying and pursuing Christ is absolutely the best way to spend it. What other resource do I have that can be used by God and is as precious as time. I am so encouraged to hear of amazing things from Blue Springs; just yesterday P. Scibelli was speaking of how encouraging it is to hear from all of you and your fire for God. We have an amazing body of Christ and it is great to see how fitted and necessary each part is, jointly working for the Glory of God. I am are excited for June convention here and I would encourage the whole church to come to see how great our God is and how there is such a need for people of God to let Christ be formed in them and Go where they are called leaving what’s behind and pressing toward the high calling of Christ. I will be co-leading a Christian sports club soon and already I am seeing fruit and seeds cultivating. The ground of the U.S is so rich, the Word is on the table of so many hearts and so many are waiting for that Word to come to life, but few will show them. I am so amazed by the growth I have seen, personally and corporately with fellow students. My expectation of how Christ will move is increasing as my understanding of His character increases. To study the word is to learn the character of our loving God, and it has been such a blessing to see Christ take over the partitions of life I haven’t set aside before. An amazing quote that was brought up either in the sermons or the classes, they are almost one and the same, was from the Narnia books when Lucy encountered a larger Aslan.
“Aslan” said Lucy “you’re bigger”.
“That is because you are older, little one” answered he.
“Not because you are?”
“I am not. But every year you grow, you will find me bigger”.”
It is so true for our walk with Christ, we will only see how great and omnipotent God is if we are growing and aging spiritually. God is constant, but we in our fallen perspective will never see God in His true glory until we give up our lives and find a heavenly perspective in Christ/the living Word. Studying The Pauline Epistle’s I am finding amazing treasure like this that can redeem a day within a prayers time.(sometimes an amazing day is only a prayer away)
1Co 13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
1Co 13:10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
1Co 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
1Co 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
1Co 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
I am finding the lost of the U.S don’t need more knowledge of the Bible, but they need the
Bible to be formed in them, the word engrafted to their hearts, written into their souls. The only way to do this is to live and express God’s love to them (face to face). We don’t need more education, but we do need the Word to be in us living and active (2Tim2:15). This is Bible College, and this is the purpose I came and will remain, I need Christ in me, in my thoughts, in my actions, in every facet of life. Nothing about a Christian’s life should be mundane when Christ is formed within. We have such a gift, such a privilege to learn and live the Word of God out in this country. I am praying that I don’t squander such a freedom, the world is so fragile and everything I know of it could change tomorrow. I need to hang on to Holy, Keep my gaze toward heaven, and seek to save the lost, redeeming the little time I have each day. I am so grateful for your support to go to Budapest and already I have connected with Alexander who is a new believer from Cyprus (my roommate in Budapest). Pray for Eurocon, all the missionaries and churches planning to attend, the students here at MBC&S (Spiritual warfare is so evident and the world is fighting to keep us from pursuing God further), the Pastors who are preparing to speak in the coming week, and the Holy Spirit to move in this world and call more believers to step out of the boat of unfaithful promises into the arms of the one Faithful God. I love you all and I am so encouraged by the messages and the news I am hearing from Blue Springs. Have blessed days, weeks, and continue on course to make this our breakout year!!
Who will I Feed(adaption of an awesome poem I heard)
I have two natures one is truth, one lies and it deceives
One aims to makes me Holy, the other uplifts me but then leaves
One that builds up and one that destroys
My life is valuable to one to the other a toy
I find they both fight for power trying to lead
And the stronger of the two is the one I feed…
(1Timothy 4:8)
May the Word of God dwell deep,
